Manchester United FA Cup winner Gordon Strachan admits he regretted the way he left Old Trafford - despite his great success with Leeds United.
Strachan left Old Trafford before the glory days in Manchester and headed to Leeds.
The former Scotland boss admits faith had been lost on both sides, but was pleased that his career didn't nosedive.
At Elland Road he helped the Whites win the top flight title in 1992 - pipping United by four points.
"I had lost faith in myself and he had lost faith in me," Strachan said.
"I get more annoyed with myself than I do with him because I went down without a fight. But it worked out. Some players leave United and die a death. I didn't."
