Chelsea have still not placed a bid for Stoke City star Asmir Begovic.

With Petr Cech set to depart for Arsenal, Chelsea are in the market to sign a new goalkeeper and it was recently revealed that the Blues are eyeing Stoke's Begovic.

Reports even went as far as claiming that Chelsea had already placed a bid of around £9million for the Bosnian star who has only one year remaining on his current deal at the Britannia Stadium.

However, the Stoke Sentinel have quashed such claims, revealing that the Potters are yet to receive a bid for Begovic.
