Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant doesn't understand why he was pushed out by former manager Tony Pulis.
Pennant believes he was wrongly portrayed as a rebel after falling out of favour with Pulis at the Britannia Stadium over the past 18 months.
"It was somebody falling out with a player and then washing his hands of him. Then people jumped to the wrong conclusion," he told The Sentinel.
"But as a player, I came in every day, I wasn't late, I trained hard and gave no-one a reason to doubt anything."
