Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is set to make an £8 million offer for Juventus midfielder Momo Sissoko.
The Daily Mail says Pulis is keen to make the 26-year-old the star summer signing at the Britannia Stadium but knows he will face tough competition from French sides Paris St Germain and Marseille.
The Stoke boss said: "It's no secret we need to bring players in to boost the squad.
"We're hoping to do some deals over the next few weeks."
