Stoke wait for Liverpool keeper Carson's decision

Pulis held talks with Carson on Monday after the Premier League new boys agreed a fee in the region of £4million with Liverpool for the England international.

"I think there is one or two other clubs involved in the mix and agents are working between the clubs and we will see which way it drops," Pulis told Sky Sports News.

"We have made an offer and if we can do it, we can do it, if we can't we will move on."

Pulis believes Carson would be a good signing for Stoke if they can land him, but he concedes his side are not favourites to capture the talented keeper.

"We are hoping to make big signings, I think we have got to and everybody realises that we have got to.

"He (Carson) is at the right age and we think it would be a good deal for the football club if he came, if he doesn't, like I say, we move on.

"He has come down, had a look and we have had a chat.

"I think this is a good club. We are building a football club and trying to build a reputation.

"The other clubs involved have been in the Premiership before, we have not been there in 23 years so we will find it a bit more difficult than the other clubs.

"We have to accept that and get on with it."
