Stoke striker Saido Berahino blows fuse over Nimes treatment

Stoke City striker Saido Berahino has seen a move to Nimes fall through.

After successful trials with Zulte Waregem, Berahino left Belgium for tests with Nimes last week.

However, a source close to the forward says he felt let down by the club.

The confidant told Le 10 Sport: "From the beginning, he was able to note a flagrant lack of organisation within the staff and a lack of obvious professionalism.

"He was made to visit the structures of the club as if everything was stalled, he would be in the dressing room, training grounds, etc ... while no real condition of recruitment was proposed to him, in a clear way. This is not the case at high-level clubs.

"And when he met the coach, he saw a demotivated coach, very cold. Despite his status, he agreed to give it a try as he was extremely motivated to play for this club. But not in these conditions ... It is for this reason that he leaves and that he does not wish to continue the discussions around his arrival."
