Stoke striker Arnautovic must return to Germany for court date

Stoke City striker Marko Arnautovic is wanted back in Germany to face court.

BILD says Arnautovic must go to court in Munich as he fights an accusation he dodged car tax while on the books of Werder Bremen.

It's reported police noticed Arnautovic's Porsche Panamera had an Austrian licence when he was pulled over in October 2012.

He said the car belonged to his mother Gabi, who was living in Vienna, but he was not believed and received a penalty in excess of €120,000.

He lodged a complaint and a hearing has now been arranged, to be held in January.

Bild reports: "He must now appear in court in Munich. Probably with his mother."
