Stoke City are moving for Aston Villa defender Curtis Davies.

The Daily Mail says the Potters are lining up a £2m bid for Villa defender Davies.

The 25-year-old has spent three months on loan at Championship side Leicester and is available.

Davies has also been discussed as a possible makeweight in a swap for Blackburn's Chris Samba.
