STOKE IN SINGAPORE: Transfer activity producing 'interesting' early morning calls – Scholes

Stoke City chief executive Tony Scholes has stated that he has been conducting some 'interesting' transfer calls in the morning during the club's tour of Singapore.

Scholes has gone on to admit that the activity in the transfer front has not been ideal during the tour and revealed that he has been conducting some interesting early morning phone calls.

"I have been able to keep up (transfer negotiations) while we have been in Singapore," said chief executive Scholes.

"There's a big time gap so there have been some pretty interesting early morning phone calls. There are one or two things that we have been having conversations on, but as ever we will see what develops."
