Stoke City fullback Ryan Shotton is enjoying his progress this season.
The 23-year old Fenton-born defender has been a regular starter for boss Tony Pulis in the Club's first foray into European competition in almost 40 years.
He told Stoke's website: "Just to be a part of this team having been a lifelong Stoke supporter is good enough for me, but to actually be a part of the gaffer's starting eleven as much as I have been in the competition has been absolutely unbelievable really.
"It's a different level altogether from where I thought I would be at the start of the year. People say 'It feels like a dream' a lot nowadays and maybe it is a bit of a cliché, but that's exactly what it is like for me. It sometimes doesn't feel real.
He added: "I just have to take advantage of us being in these sort of occasions though and really enjoy it. That is exactly what I am doing."
