The Sentinel says the Potters have tied up a three-year deal for giant defender Dionatan Teixeira.
The 6ft 6in centre-back impressed on trial in the back end of the season and the Potters struck a deal worth about £400,000 with his club Banska Bystrica.
The 21-year-old played youth football for Brazil before switching his allegiance to Slovakia - meaning there is no work permit restriction.
