Stoke City are reportedly planning a swoop for Blackpool youngster Dom Telford in the upcoming summer.
Telford managed to break into the Blackpool first team this season and is said to have left a lasting impression on City manager Mark Hughes.
As a result, Hughes has reportedly sent scouts over to cast a closer eye on the 18-year old and now according to the Blackpool Gazette, it has been claimed that Stoke have been convinced enough by the talent of the Burnley native to make a move in the summer.
Telford has a modest record of only 1 goal in 11 matches this season but considering the fact that he is only 18, the youngster could well develop into a top class player in the future.
