Stoke City defender Bruno Martins Indi was gutted by the manner of defeat at Manchester City.

The Potters were thrashed 7-2 by City at the Etihad.

"We know we could do much better," Martins Indi told AD. "They took advantage of every mistake we made.

"We did not get close to them - not like we did last season."

On City star Kevin de Bruyne, he added: "Everyone knows his qualities. I do not want to say more about him now."
