Stoke City defender Andrew Davies is happy with his loan move to Preston.

The 24 year-old told the official club website: "I'm really looking forward to it, it'll be a good opportunity for me. I haven't played for quite a few months so it will be a good challenge for me.

"I've played against Preston a few times and they're a good team. I've just come here to play football and try and help the lads achieve promotion."
