Geoff Cameron insists he is ready to play through the pain barrier in order to help Stoke City and the United States.
The Potters defender is nursing a hamstring injury, but he says he is ready to sacrifice his body for club and country.
"I only trained two days (before the Southampton match) to give myself as much time as possible to heal and prepare for the game," he said. "The gaffer has trust in me and played me and I'm one of the guys who will play with an injury unless it's really bad."
He added: "Now it's a massive game (for the U.S.), We have to get a win against Panama and if we get that we'll be all right and qualify for Russia.
"But at this stage of the season so you just have to be aware. The gaffer knows, he's been a manager of an international team and he knows what guys are doing."
