Stoke City are confident seeing off competition from Roma for Cardiff City winger Joe Ledley.

The Daily Mail says the Potters hope to convince Ledley to move to the Britannia Stadium despite the Wales international planning talks with Roma this week.

Celtic and West Ham are also in the hunt for the 23-year-old who is out of contract with Cardiff but would still cost a training fee if he moves to England.

Cardiff have offered him around £11,000 a week to stay but he can double his money elsewhere.
