Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross says they must be patient with Belgian whizkid Julien Ngoy.
He admits he can sometimes be frustrated as well as impressed as Ngoy – who has featured in all of Stoke's last five games – finds his feet at senior level.
“Julien's a player," he told The Sentinel. “He's just got to get his mentality right and learn when to dribble, when to track back. There are a lot of things that will come with time. He's 19 and in the Premier League. I played at about the same age and it's a difficult, difficult league with no place to hide.
“He's got a lot of talent so hopefully we can help him into a good player. He's got everything. He frustrates me at times because we know how good he is but you've got to give him time and I know that the manager has a lot of faith in him. He's a good player who will add a lot to our attack over the coming seasons.
"It's a matter of not putting too much expectation on him to do too much too soon then hopefully he'll then turn out to be a very good player."
