Stoke boss Pulis thrilled with his players after Arsenal draw

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis was delighted with his team's performance in today's 0-0 home draw with Arsenal.

The Potters were resolute in defence against a Gunners side which is yet to adjust to their new strike signings and the overall showing was not lost on Pulis who was happy to maintain an unbeaten start following their 1-1 draw at Reading last week.

"It was a good result, there's things that we're not happy with and things that we can do better, but we're playing a team who are on a different level to us," he told Sky Sports.

"The work-rate and the attitude of the players off the ball were very, very good but we have to do things a little bit better and we are capable of doing better.

"We have an interesting and busy week I hope ahead so we can freshen up, we need to do that. If we can do that then hopefully, fingers crossed, we can push on.

"We've played two difficult games, a newly-promoted team away from home was always a tough game and one of the top teams at our place and we're still unbeaten."
