Stoke City boss Tony Pulis was impressed by new Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud during yesterday's 0-0 draw.

Pulis was unhappy with his own attackers but praised the defence for keeping 6ft 4in striker Giroud quiet.

He said: "Giroud played well - he's a big lump. He's good in the air and has good movement.

"But we must never become blase about taking just a point off one of the top teams in Europe."
