Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is delighted with the impact made by Jon Walters.
And the manager believes the Stoke faithful have taken to the big striker's honest toil since last summer's £2.75m move from Ipswich.
"He's been as good a signing as we've had for what we paid," Pulis told The Sentinel.
"He's been absolutely fantastic. In the last five minutes of the game against West Ham, he was up around their box and then back around ours.
"They stood up and applauded him, so that shows what our fans think of him.
"He epitomises everything that is good about our team - being unselfish and working their socks off."
