Stoke boss Hughes not writing off his loan players

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes insists he's not written off those players away on-loan this season.

Bojan, Joselu and Philipp Wollscheid are all due to return to the club from loan spells abroad as things stand - and Hughes certainly isn't ruling out a full-time return for at least one of them.

"Some will leave, clearly," he told The Sentinel. "Others may well come back. We will wait and see.

"Philipp Wollscheid struggled initially (at Wolfsburg) and there was a change of manager, but he's worked hard to get back into the frame, so it's a better situation.

"Joselu has played games (20 league games at Deportivo La Coruna) and Bojan, albeit his advisors picked the wrong club (Mainz) because of the way they play, has done well when's got the opportunity."
