Stoke City boss Mark Hughes insists Porto defender Bruno Martins Indi remains a priority target.

The Dutchman has been linked with Crystal Palace in the past week.

Hughes told The Sentinel: "In this day and age there is a lot of news flying around, fake news, in inverted commas maybe or whatever the terms is. We've just got to accept it. To be able to comment on things which are ongoing would be the wrong thing to do because they change so quickly at this time of the season.

"As soon as we have anything definite, you'll be the first to know. And yes, we are doing more deals."
