Stoke City are moving for Tottenham defender Kevin Wimmer.

The Telegraph says Stoke have made a £15 million bid for Wimmer.

Mark Hughes is moving for the centre-back despite already signing Kurt Zouma and Bruno Martins Indi this summer.

Stoke are the latest team to switch to three at the back and clearly feel that Wimmer can help them push on in their quest for a European finish.

But whether the Austria international fancies a move to the bet365 Stadium remains to be seen.

West Brom remain keen on signing Wimmer as a replacement for Manchester City target Jonny Evans.
