Stoke academy chief Wright confident Hughes will give kids chance

Stoke City academy chief David Wright believes their young players will get a chance under new manager Mark Hughes.

Wright says the opportunities are there at Stoke for youngsters.

He said: "I think there is certainly going to be a closer relationship with the first team and academy. That is evident already and we have a new under-21s coach who has experience working with the management. I think his relationship with them will be of huge benefit."
