David Stockdale feels Fulham can face FA Cup opponents Everton with confidence after their victory over Newcastle United.

The England hopeful wants Fulham to build on the defeat of Newcastle - starting with Everton in the FA Cup Fourth Round on Friday.

"We know it's a difficult game, but we need to go into the FA Cup with an open mind and play like we know we can," Stockdale told fulhamfc.com. "There are a few things that we need to work on, but hopefully we can go up to Goodison Park and get the result we need.

"It's a game that we're all looking forward to and it goes without saying that we want to do well."
