Stoke City are closing in on Belgian young gun Thibaut Verlinden according to reports.

According to the Daily Mail, 15-year old Standard Liege midfielder Verlinden will sign with the Potters when he turns 16 in July.

Verlinden has previously had trials with Liverpool and Everton and is also a target for Club Brugge and Anderlecht but is being tipped to join Stoke's academy this summer.
