Rio Ferdinand's stalker has been arrested after she was found guilty of harassing the Manchester United defender.
38-year old Susanne Ibru was yesterday convicted of stalking after she repeatedly turned up unwanted at the Cheshire home of the England international in recent months.
Miss Ibru was arrested in Warrington and is due to again appear in court for sentencing after she left the hearing at Macclesfield's Magistrates Court prior to its conclusion yesterday.
District Judge Nicholas Sanders gave the verdict that Miss Ibru did indeed harass Ferdinand and his family.
"It is without question that it did amount to harassment of Mr and Mrs Ferdinand," he said.
"Miss Ibru, I suspect, will say she didn't know but she certainly should have done."
