Newcastle United midfielder Conor Newton is ready to play in the Scottish League Cup final for St Mirren.
The on-loan youngster admits a big performance at Hampden Park will put him in the shop window.
"To be honest, I am in the dark about what is going to happen in the future at Newcastle," he told the Sunday Sun.
"I have to wait until the end of the season, so I am up in Scotland trying to make a name for myself playing in games such as the final and semi-final and beating teams like Celtic.
"It would mean everything to me to win a medal."
