St Johnstone boss Derek McInnes is working feverishly to beef up his squad in preparation for playing nine games in 28 days. "We will have a minimum of nine games between now and the end of February and I may well need all the players at my disposal," McInnes said.

"I understand the frustration of some of the guys who have not been involved in recent games but my first priority is to have everyone fit and ready for this club's matches.

"I can still loan players out after the transfer deadline passes but I can't bring a loan player in, so my priority is having the right players at my disposal for our games."
