AA Gent striker Laurent Depoitre is determined to make the most of his sudden elevation.

Called into the Belgium squad this week, the 26 year-old is also being linked with Tottenham in today's English press.

"In my career I have always done everything step by step and I've always managed to adapt," Depoitre said.

"Everything is moving very quickly.

"I do hope now that this is not the end for me."
