Tottenham have struck terms verbally with Sao Paulo striker Jonathan Calleri.

Fichajes.com says Spurs have struck a deal after discussions the Argentine hit man.

The 22-year-old is on loan at Brazilian club Sao Paulo where he bagged 12 goals in 24 appearances last season.

Calleri was previously at Boca Juniors and notched 16 goals in 41 appearances, before moving to Deportivo Moldonado in Uruguay.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is expected to strengthen his squad this summer after an impressive season.
