Spurs reach personal terms with Metz superkid Pape Matar Sarr

Tottenham have a deal in place with Metz superkid Pape Matar Sarr.

The teenage Senegalese was attracting interest from across Europe, but Foot Mercato says Spurs have reached a deal with agents for the midfielder.

A contract until June 2026 awaits the Grenet who should be loaned for a season back with the Lorraine club.

Negotiations between Tottenham and Metz are also at an advanced stage.

The 18 year-old Sarr is a senior Senegal international and plays as a defensive midfielder for Metz. He only moved to France less than a year ago after being spotted by Metz scouts at the Generation Foot academy in Senegal.

With a deal to 2025, Sarr played 26 first team games with Metz, scoring four goals.

Interestingly, with Spurs preparing to sell Tanguy Ndombele, it's been revealed they also see Bordeaux midfielder Yacine Adli as a replacement.
