Fulham manager Marco Silva has a £6 million release option as part of his contract.

The Portuguese head coach is being linked with a move away from Craven Cottage this summer.

Per The Mail, Silva is being linked to several clubs in the Premier League as the season nears its end.

The likes of Tottenham, Crystal Palace, Leeds, Nottingham Forest, Leicester and Southampton could all want a new head coach in the coming weeks.

While some of those jobs may be seen as a step down from Fulham, clubs such as Spurs and Leicester will appeal to Silva.

He may believe that another team can match his ambition better than Fulham in the medium term.
