Tottenham Hotspur are intent on stealing a march on Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Spurs are eager to beat North London rivals Arsenal to the highly-rated 16-year-old wing-back.
Sessegnon impressed for around 30 minutes as Spurs beat Fulham 3-0 in the FA Cup fifth round at Craven Cottage on Sunday, showcasing his Gareth Bale-like abilities to Mauricio Pochettino, as well as Chelsea boss Antonio Conte who was in the stands.
The starlet has been watched by the Gunners, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, the Blues and Bayern Munich but Spurs are hoping to jump to the front of the queue for the England U17 international.
