Tottenham hero Jamie Redknapp has revealed a touch of class from Manchester City chairman Khaldoon al-Mubarak after their defeat on Wednesday.
Redknapp was at Eastlands to see Dad Harry lead Spurs into the Champions League for the first time in their history.
He told the Daily Mail: "I was in the boardroom after the game, when the City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak came over and said: 'Pass on my congratulations to your dad. He thoroughly deserves it.'
"I thought that was a touch of class, because so many people find it hard to lose gracefully. He seems a good guy, ambitious and determined.
"You just know these people aren't about finishing second. They are going to be on the world stage very soon."
