Tottenham are locked in negotiations with Espanyol goalkeeper Carlos Kameni.

The Sun says White Hart Lane boss Juande Ramos is now discussing personal terms with the Cameroon keeper and hopes to clinch the signing in the next few weeks.

Spurs are prepared to offer Kameni, 24, a three-year deal worth around £30,000 a week.

It is understood the player wants a longer contract and discussions are ongoing.
