Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen was delighted with victory over Swansea City.

It ensured Tottenham ended a run of three straight losses in all competitions.

Vertonghen said: "This win was vital - mentally it was very important.

"We came back from the international break and I think a few of the lads were tired. But we kept fighting for 90 minutes."
