Tottenham and London mayor Boris Johnson are set to meet to solve their Olympic Stadium row.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is considering legal action over the decision to allow West Ham United to move to the Stratford site.
But Tottenham MP David Lammy said: "I need to get Spurs and the mayor to the table in the coming weeks.
"I hope I can get them in a room together and work out a way forward, because that cannot be in the High Court.
"A way forward has got to be working together to deliver the Northumberland Park scheme."
