Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp hopes Ledley King will be fit for their next game.
King was taken off after 30 minutes of Tottenham's clash with Sunderland on Saturday - a fourth injury concern for the player in as many months.
The 29-year-old has only completed 90 minutes in five of the eight matches he has played, and the club are desperate for him to have an injury-free run with his current contract running out in the summer.
King's knee problems mean he is barely able to train with his team-mates and he can play only once a week.
The international break means Spurs don't play again until a home clash with Wigan on November 22, giving King time to recover.
