Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is ready to sell Roman Pavlyuchenko.
With Redknapp having to sell to raise funds to buy the extra midfielder he wants, the Russian is clearly expendable.
Redknapp said: "I never seem to get Pav on the pitch, which is hard on him.
"Technically he is a very good player, but when people say I've got four very good strikers, I'd rather have just three, because of the problems four cause.
"In today's football, you could play with just one striker, with Luka Modric or Niko Kranjcar playing off him.
"So with four it is too many. Pav is finding it hard to deal with, but what can I do?
"And if someone comes in for Pav, I wouldn't necessarily look to replace him, no."
