Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho was full of praise for Adam Webster after the Brighton defender's goal on Boxing Day.

Webster rose majestically to head home the game's opening goal, before Spurs hit back in the second-half to win 2-1.

Mourinho said: "There are situations in the game which are really difficult.

"Their goal – how are we going to stop that fantastic header? That giant to score that? Difficult.

"In the last five or ten minutes, (Dan) Burn as a striker. What are we going to do? Try to win second balls."
