Tottenham boss Martin Jol admitted he was disappointed with Jermain Defoe's strop after he was substituted for eventual matchwinner Robbie Keane in last night's Carling Cup win over Middlesbrough.
Defoe reacted angrily to being taken off and Jol said: "He's a human being.
"Even with children, if they have a lot of support they feel confident. I always say if you come off you have to show respect for your team-mates."
