Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has told Darren Bent to buck up his ideas at Aston Villa.

Bent spoke of his frustration last week, but Villas-Boas' advice is for him to knuckle down and toe the line.

"He has to accept Lambert's decision-making," said the Tottenham manager.

"But I expect him to play against us.

"He creates so many problems to defences. He's a very important player for Villa."
