Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has praised Swansea City counterpart Michael Laudrup over his deal for Michu.
Spurs are at home to Swansea today and AVB thinks Laudrup has secured the transfer of the season in Spanish striker Michu.
He said: "Without doubt, Michael had the jump on everyone because he knew him from Spanish football. He caught us cold. A great signing.
"But we have Jermain Defoe, who told me he is playing the best football of his life and no one can argue with that."
