Tottenham are pricing Roman Pavlyuchenko out of a move away, says his agent.
The 27-year-old is desperate to leave White Hart Lane after failing to make a League start this season, but his suitors are being put off by Spurs' demands.
Oliver Wendt, who represents the player's interests in Germany, Italy and Spain, said Roma were the only team in his area showing interest.
Roma would prefer to take him on loan, while Tottenham are holding out for a cash deal worth more than the £13.8million they paid Spartak Moscow for him after Euro 2008.
"My client wants to leave Tottenham," said Wendt. "But, at the moment, the only European team interested in Roman is Roma. However, there hasn't been a formal offer.
"Tottenham Hotspur haven't changed their position. The club don't want to loan him or sell for less than they bought him."
