Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso has shrugged off interest from Arsenal.

Veloso only extended his contract last season and is now tied to Sporting until 2013, with his deal carrying a £20 million buyout clause.

Asked last night about news that Arsenal are preparing a bid for him, Veloso shrugged: "I want to go on my summer break. Then, later, I'll return to my Sporting."
