Chelsea target Bruma has been the subject of a bizarre kidnap plot by his own Sporting Lisbon fans.

The Daily Mail says the 18-year-old's agent said the events took place on Wednesday night, a day after stories were published about the player's ambition to move.

Bruma attracted interest from overseas after impressing for Portugal at the Under 20 World Cup with the Blues among the interested parties.

Agent Catio Balde told Antena 1: "We have pressed charges. This is a very serious and unpleasant matter, and it led to this decision."
