Sporting Gijon midfielder Michel will be in Birmingham today.
The Times says Michel will undergo a medical at Birmingham City today after they agreed £3 million fee for the midfield player with Sporting.
The young Spaniard was also wanted by several Spanish Primera clubs, including Valencia.
