Sporting CP president Bruno de Carvalho is determined not to lose Adrien Silva this week.

The Portugal attacker has confirmed talks with Leicester City in the last 24 hours.

However, Maisfutebol says Carvalho will not sell Silva for anything less than his buyout clause, despite the player's comments.

Silva stated yesterday: "After 15 years with Sporting, this opportunity is something exceptional for me and can allow me to express and impose myself in another championship, and also to evolve in the Premier League, which is a stunning league.

"The president assured me, after so many years of dedication, he would not put obstacles to my professional development if we received an interesting proposal for both parties. I think that is the case and we should come up with something concrete soon."
