Speroni: Puncheon knew Palace players were behind him

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni says the players were delighted for Jason Puncheon after his matchwinning goal against Stoke City.

Puncheon had been pilloried during the week over his disastrous penalty miss in defeat at Tottenham.

Speroni said: "You always take the mickey. There was a bit of banter between the lads. He was fine.

"He knows whatever happens, himself and everybody else, we all have the support of each other."
